MP2 Venus Freeze Treatments North Tampa, Florida

Venus Freeze™ therapy North Tampa
Venus Freeze™ - Tighten Loose Skin Fast

What areas of the body can be treated?

The face, neck and entire body can be treated with the Venus Freeze

How successful are the treatments?

Most patients see a result in as little as three treatments however, we advise a full series of six treatments for the face and eight to ten treatments on the body.

How does the Venus Freeze technology work?

Venus (MP)² works by incorporating Multi-Polar Radio Frequency and Magnetic Pulsed Fields into one device and delivering it safely and effectively to the patient.

Skin tightening, wrinkle reduction and cellulite reduction occur because the multi-polar radio frequency causes a thermal response in the tissue which activates the body`s natural healing response. That healing response causes new collagen to form, new elastin fibers and the production of fibroblasts to increase. The existing collagen in the skin contracts (this causes the skin to look and feel firmer) and the elastin fibers unravel (which makes the skin more elastic).

Body contouring is achieved when the temperature of the skin is elevated, the body releases stress hormones. These hormones pass through the blood stream, and attach themselves to specific receptors on the membrane of the fat cell in the hypodermis (the deepest layer of the skin). The stress hormone, once attached to the receptor, activates the hormone sensitive lipase – the hormone that is in charge of breaking down triglycerides into free fatty acids. The free fatty acids exit the fat cell through the blood stream, and the volume of the fat cell is thus reduced giving you a smoother, more contoured shape.

What is it like to have a treatment?

As you lay comfortably on a treatment bed, the technician will apply a treatment gel to the skin. This lotion helps the applicator glide on the surface of your skin. The correct size applicator is selected and the treatment provider will then begin to apply smooth and consistent movements on the surface of the skin. This feels like a wonderful warm massage. We encourage our patients to close their eyes and take this time to just relax and enjoy the quiet and focused time for them.

A Sublux

The cold laser technology behind the Zerona procedure was shown to exclusively release the cellular contents of fat cells while leaving the capillaries and other cells within the interstitial space intact. The release of the fat cell contents is the result of the disruption of the cell's membrane. This membrane disruption, called a transitory pore, is the result of low-level laser stimulation.

Prior to laser exposure, fat cells have a regular, cluster shape, as seen in Figure 4. Within minutes of low level laser exposure, fat cells begin to develop transitory pores as indicated by arrows in Figures 6-9. This pore allows the evacuation of the cell's contents into extracellular space (see Figure 7). Once the contents of the fat cell have been emptied (Fig. 10), they are released into interstitial space where it can be passed through the body during its normal course of detoxification.

Through a double blind, randomized, multi-site and placebo-controlled study, the Zerona procedure is proven to be an effective non-invasive cold laser weight loss and body contouring procedure. On average, patients lost on average 3.64 inches from the circumference of their waist, hip and thighs, whereas the placebo group only lost an average of a half of an inch.

The Zerona cold lasers provide patients with a safer alternative to surgical procedures, which can result in bruising, swelling, and damage to other tissues. There is no need to wear compression garments or bandages with Zerona and since there is no pain, there is no need for anesthesia. Unlike other non-invasive approaches, Zerona low-level lasers do not rely on heating tissue, which can cause discomfort. There is no downtime, so patients can resume their normal activities immediately.
